Little Debbie has lost 4 or more games in a season 21 Years in a Row (2004-2024). Had 8 yr Drought (Oct 15, 2016-Nov 23, 2024) of a 6 win season

A close friend of mine from Tulsa forwarded an article from the Tulsa World Newspaper. He's an OU fan and hates Nebraska as much as I do. We chuckled at first, then it turned to raw hard belly laughter.

Bill Haisten: For Nebraska and its loyal fans, 17 consecutive seasons of at least four losses

MAKE IT 18 YEARS THIS SEASON BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

18 straight years of 4 or more losses is highly likely. If they go 6-6 this year it would be a minor miracle. But i have said it before and I will say it again; I think they go to Illinois in game #1 and lose.

Their schedule this year is brutal. No wonder they wanted to back out of the game AT OKLAHOMA.

Their Full Schedule:
at Illinois
vs Buffalo
at Oklahoma
at Michigan State

vs Northwestern
vs Michigan
at Minnesota
vs Purdue
vs Ohio State
vs Southeastern Louisiana
at Wisconsin
vs Iowa

Damn, they'll feel like they won the lottery if they ONLY lose 4 games this year......

Frank Solich (Pelini coached the bowl game?) went 10-3 in 2003. That team was ranked as high as #10 in the country.

Here is a look at the 17 years since that 10-3 season in 2003:
..........................................
2004: 5-6 Bill Callahan (4 years)
2005: 8-4
2006: 9-5
2007: 5-7
..........................................
2008: 9-4 Bo Pelini (7 years)
2009: 10-4
2010: 10-4
2011: 9-4
2012: 10-4
2013: 9-4
2014: 9-4
..........................................
2015: 6-7 Mike Riley (3 years)
2016: 9-4
2017: 4-8
..........................................
2018: 4-8 Scott Frost (3 years)
2019: 5-7
2020: 3-5

Well, I'm either a plagiarist or great minds think a like. And to think I added a link from the Tulsa World Newspaper. You're a head of your time Franisdaman. Sorry for the copy.

I think Brett Bulemia and Illinois pull off the upset in game #1.

It's gonna be a long season for Little Debbie.

Will they want to stick with Scott Flop for a 5th year?
Scott Frost is a true leader. He has lowered the expectations of an entire state and received a contract extension. No wonder the sumbitch can recruit.

Thanks for the info. They suck.
They have Oliver Martin. He and his 40 inch vertical alone is worth 12 wins. Isn’t he, Harb?

Harb can't keep his stories straight when it comes to his friend, Oliver Martin. How on earth would Little Debbie suck when Oliver is on their team???

Don't forget, Flick, according to Harb, Iowa would have won a National Championship with Oliver and Eno!!!

You can't make this shit up.

So...who's the HC when the 2022 season starts?

I despise frost as much as the next guy but any hawk fan who thinks next year could be his last will be disappointed

Moos the AD is all in on him and with everything he has said about him there is no reason to believe he won’t be coach come 22’ unless Moos leaves (which is doubtful). Now if frost had the exact same coaching background coming from UCF but wasn’t a Nebraska alum I bet he would be on the hot seat this year. But I can’t wait to see frost navigate that schedule next year and for OU to drop a 50 burger on them to retaliate for trying to back out and watch them clinch season 18 of 4 losses before November.

I agree - Frost is their “golden boy”. I anticipate he’ll be given at least 2 or 3 more years to try to turn that ship around.

You’re most likely right. Fun thing is to watch is their fan base slowly but surely after each loss have more and more fans start to realize he isn’t it and become skeptics of him. That will surely continue with their schedule next year. Very realistic to see him have his 4th losing season in a row.

But even so they will continue on with him and make excuses and spin some type of optimism going into the next season. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Debbie begged the entire team to come back. They have to have the most returning players who could’ve departed in the country. They will still suck D

Yep. If Scotty doesn't have a great defense this year with all those sixth year guys, he never will. It's a pivotal year for Howdy Doody. Too bad for him his best player on offense quit drinking the koolaid.

Stop saying Little Debbie.
You got cousins in Nebraska or something Hawkness? I have a little stimulus money left if your cousin is hot and you want to sell some nude pics. 🙂

PS: I never call Nebby Little Debbie. It would be disrespectful to my favorite snack food company.

All odds says he will be there a while. But man, if he has only 3 wins with a suspect recruiting class I'd say there's a good chance he'd depart from the pressure. For sure his support has begun to wane. The departure of players has alarmed many of his supporters. The fact that kids who are NFL legacies have departed may be quite revealing. Warner, Spielman, McCaffrey, and one I can't recall would concern me.

I agree with you, but oh boy would it be fun to watch him leave in embarrassment.

Their 6 year seniors haven't done sheet for the last 5 years but delusion says they will be great their sixth year.
They're obviously not particularly talented with little future ahead of them. They are passing up the NFL for the outside chance to make a bowl game?
If the UNLLLLLL defense allows fewer points per game this year it will be because the offense turned the ball over less.

enjoy patting yourself on the back now. Gonna be tough to score against an experienced blackshirt defense.

Did you just return from Colorado? Cause it appears you've OD'd on them magic gummy bears. How many points did they give up to Illinois last year?

Never forget, the original black shirts reside in Iowa City, and they KNOW HOW TO PLAY DEFENSE.

Let's be honest I doubt too many of them are going to be making a NFL roster. Kind of funny come year 4 the offensive guru Frost has to lean on his defense because his offense looks to be sub par again next year with lack of unproven play makers.

Barry Alvarez probably would have been the best coach to succeed Tom Osborne. Wisconsin is a pretty sweet job in its own right, but if there's a coach that really deserved to come home, it should have been King Barry.

The bad news is, Iowa would have had a lot less success against the Huskers.

Nebraska's D under Frost:

'18: 31.2 ppg allowed, 5.0 ypc allowed rushing, 20 take-aways, 43% on 3rd down conversions, 433.5 total ypg allowed

'19: 27.75 ppg allowed, 4.8 ypc allowed rushing, 21 take-aways, 40.1% on 3rd down conversions, 388.8 total ypg allowed

'20: 29.38 ppg allowed, 4.2 ypc allowed rushing, 7 take-aways, 40.5% on 3rd down conversions, 386.5 total ypg allowed

Even with improvements made ... the numbers have to significantly shift for Nebraska to compete for the division ... let alone, the conference.

Also ... with all the personnel turnover on the offensive side ... even with improvements on D ... will the O be able to score enough? Nebraska has some decent TEs ... and Zavier Betts is a stud ... but otherwise that O is still going to have to be heavily reliant of comparatively inexperienced guys.
