Who cares?

I don’t think anyone cares that much. I do think it’s funny.

It’s fun to see funny things.
Agree.

We always hear….”we are back” in the off-season after making all kinds of moves with transfers and portal players. Then the non con and it’s all roses and cupcakes after a few wins. Their fans then start looking at their conference schedule and see all kinds of wins…”no reason we can’t go 7-1 or 6-2 at worst”. Then proceed to lose to almost every team on their schedule.

They have yet to understand the B1G is a meat grinder week in and week out. Damn it’s funny watching them fail week in and week out. Then we will hear “at least we aren’t Iowa” while looking up at Iowa again in the standings and taking another loss while proclaiming there is no rivalry. Soon to be followed by “at least we’ve won national championships” like they were on the team and a part of those championships. It’s too damn funny.

1956. Shared with Georgia Tech.

But who cares? That was decades ago. Doesn't mean shit now.

You Nebraska cry babies can't face the fact your long past your Blue blood era. When the NCAA unlimited scholarship policy ended and the recruiting for your shitty campus, the well went dry.

I loved reading on this board how the Cornholers were going to waltz in and take over the Big Ten. How consecutive many losses to rated teams is it now? 26 or 27....

Tell us how you important your past NCs are.
Nebby is a laughingstock

Remember hearing after the Colorado game their fans were ready to give the Heisman to Raiola and a lot of playoff talk. Now their golden boy qb is hurt after having 5 tds 7int in conf play ( 1-6 in last 4) and now they could miss out on a bowl game again. What a difference 4-5 weeks make.
How bad is Raiola hurt? Will he play vs USC?

They never WON national championships. The mythical natty was VOTED on in a popularity contest by writers who couldn't possibly attend or even watch all the games.

Add the coaches poll, more popularity votes usually by staffers, coaches are too busy to watch other teams.

The playoffs will crown the champs in the most realistic way so far. More improvement is needed.

Actually Iowa has 5 national championships in football.
Zero ncaa probations.
One of two schools with a natty and zero probations.
Suck it nebby.

Dude - you’re not really that close to being good.
I didn't say good. I said 8-1. A made FG vs Illinois, and not turning over on downs late (within the 10) against UCLA gets us to 7-2. And we were as close to beating OSU as we were to losing. Even Iowa fans here knew that Nebraska was getting jobbed by the refs in the OSU game. That doesn't mean good, but winning a football game on a certain day doesn't = good. You should recognize that if you're over like 8 years old.

Whatever makes you idiots feel better - so this year are you the best 5 win team? Every year you make up these stupid participation trophies to make yourselves feel relevant

How were you jobbed other than a couple bad calls, one being the spot and the other as I don’t recall due to flipping around to other games at the time?

No one was talking about the off-season. Don't project, yo.
Every off-season the delusional debbies hype their team to ridiculous heights. Damn, even the media does it until Debby shows her true abilities.

I worked in Nebraska for many years and witnessed their derangement first hand. Still have your Nebby big 10 champs t shirt? Funny stuff.

Again, Iowa fans are the only ones talking about the off season in this thread. Don't project.

Try reading your own board in the spring and summer. Its CFP time every year for lots of them.....
This thread is here on this board, and the only ones talking about the off season are Iowa fans. That has nothing to do with anything in this thread. You guys on that side of the river have problems keeping your thoughts together. Come over to Omaha and I'll make sure that we get some good corn for you that will help your synapses and whatnot an errrthang.

Typical Neb nonsense. Everybody here see's all the stupid comments that come from Husker land every year about "this is the year", and then when it doesn't happen you all try to walk it back. And for the record YES I'm a proud Hawkeye, but I haven't lived on "that side of the river" in 35 years. Make what assumptions you will. NO one here gives a damn, one way or the other.....

Just to shut this down, name the one team in a D1 power conference that hasn't been to a bowl game since 2016.... Go ahead and look in the mirror if you need to, princess.

Yet won at Kinnick two years ago on Senior Day after losing 4 straight, having a lame duck HC and qb, a grad assistant filling in for OC that didn't even make the trip and a bunch of bad players saying 'Iowa can't cover' before the game. Then proved it. Better not lose at Kinnick this year, Nebby is awful.

Fun fact - Debbie has lost 7 or more games seven seasons in a row. Working on 8 in a row now.
As much as I'd like to see that trend continue, none of the teams remaining on Nebber's schedule are juggernauts. With the right prep and attitude ... I think that the Huskers could win any one of them.

If there is one thing they have done at elite level for some time, it’s lose those games they “could” win.
