Everything going on sucks. There isn't much positive rhetoric out there right now. Whether the season continued and Iowa made a deep run who knows if Luka would have left or not. But I can almost guarantee this changes the minds of many underclassmen who were thinking about leaving for the NBA. Depending on how long this goes on it would be a risky decision to enter the NBA draft when there might not even be one or at least no combine and scouting days. Underclassmen would be putting so much on the line and end up having no good source of income. This could cause several players to come back and make for an interesting year next year. The effects of this virus reaches so many lengths it's crazy.

Luka maybe, but I highly doubt that any of the nations top underclassman will come back because of this. These kids all think their going to get paid, although many of them don't, and thats the number one thing on their agenda, not team or winning college games or championships. If thats what they cared about they'd all come back to play as upperclassman...

I see the point you make but my main thing about this is none of them may get paid depending on the seriousness and how long this goes on for. G-league and overseas won't be options if this continues like some players use straight out of high school or if they get booted from a team. Really, their only choice can be coming back or finding a temporary job outside of sports.

Thats just it though because you have to convince them first. Every year dozens of these guys leave early and very few get drafted. The ones who are the exception and are that good, they'll still be lottery picks and get paid. The majority, just like every year, won't get drafted, and will play in Europe, get a clue and go back to school, (although they can't be on scholorship), or serve you your shake and fries at McD's......
