Love for the Hawks on ESPN

SIAP- Dick Vitale was asked what he was most impressed with today and he started talking about the state of Iowa being disappointed yesterday ( not all of us , Dick!) and went into how well UNI played. He then said most impressive today was Iowa Hawkeyes and talked about how we demolished a very good team. Later Miles Simon was asked to name the most impressive team and quickly said "Iowa". Great to hear all the great pub for the Hawks. Keep it going on Sunday!!

As much as I love high end media for Iowa's Basketball program. It seems a lot easier for the "talking heads" (damn I've always loved that comparison) to deal with 32 teams after they have played a game they all watched to make comparisons. Albeit after the Zags NDSU game I think it was Kenny who mentioned that Iowa had the most impressive win in the first two days.

Yeah, and all last week they were trumpeting Davidson and predicting a win over the Hawks.

Exactly. All of them missed now a few come back with a little love. Don't get me wrong it helps our program to get some love but outside of the TBS crew I really don't listen to close.
