That's baseball.
Not really. They are record setting beat downs for the CWS championship series and overall CWS games. Yesterday was most runs scored in any game in CWS and today is like 5th or 6th most. Very crazy to happen back to back and in championship games.

I believe LSU just took the most hits record from the Gators’ record performance yesterday.

I don’t understand it but the people of Omaha have adopted LSU baseball. Like for well over a decade Omaha loves lsu baseball. Anytime they make it to the college World Series it is basically a homegame for LSU

Half the people from Omaha look like mongoloids that just crawled out of a swamp. They feel a kinship.
Two words: Council Bluffs

How good is Univ. of Nebraska baseball? That might have something to do with it.
Plus, this was LSU's 7th baseball Natty; they have a history of good baseball, and very rabid fan base. "The Box" on campus is always packed with upwards of 12-13,000 people, and is a notorious snake pit for visiting teams.
With that kind of support, and LSU's history of being a great traveling fan base, I'd suspect that might explain their home field advantage in Omaha.

LSU rains cash on the locals. Hell, $50K in jelleaux shots alone.

And GEAUX TIGERS!!!

We went to a CWS quite a few years ago now and LSU was in it that year too. They had a massive fan presence and sure seemed to be enjoying their time in Omaha. I suspect anyone selling beer within 10 miles of stadium has developed a deep fondness for the Tiger fan base. :)

But beyond that...their group was quite memorable for their zeal and enthusiasm. Zany and comical, but otherwise well behaved fans, are pretty entertaining.

I ALWAYS root for the Gators to lose, but not this time. My terminally ill FIL is a huge baseball fan and huge Gator fan. I was hoping we could send him out with a championship.

The worst part is, no matter who wins, we get to hear all of the SEC garbage.
