I plead ignorance. Can someone explain the purpose of this decision, for Cam, the Hawks, or the HWC.

He’s not getting probably any scholly money. So he’s establishing residency in Iowa to get in state tuition. Since he’s not enrolled in school he’s not redshirting. So the HWC can pay his entry fee for open tourneys instead of himself paying as a redshirt. Justin Stickley did the same thing.
