All across the kneecap? Ouch. With that injury placement, and efforts to keep it closed up, I'm actually a little shocked they imagine her back practicing this week. Gotta wonder as well, if the kneecap is bruised, and how that might effect her mobility. Certainly need her back, so fingers crossed.
I imagine she fell down and knocked her knee on the edge, but didn't land her weight on the knee. I can't imagine landing her full weight on the edge against the knee cap would only result in a laceration.
We have a long ways to go before I would feel good about facing full court press from a really good team, but we now have 2 more gaurds who have seen it live this year, and they have 8 days to coach the team up. I dont know if tht will be enough, but I'm hoping we will be well prepared for ohio state by the time we play them. We had a cheat code with CC, but even CC struggled the first couple of times she saw D1 full court press. Its just that most of those games were during the covid year when the only people watching we on big10+ with either no announcers or the freshmen communications class people. People who complain about the announcers this year have no idea how far they have come.
