Georgia and Notre Dame. From the article I read it sounds like he is taking his time and enjoying the process. Can't link it on this phone but google Luka Garza visits. Think it's written by Cory Evans around August 8th.
Haven't seen Iowa set any officials yet. I assume Jack Nunge but haven't seen anything on him.

Garza had his Iowa official last May. We had an official set up with Williams, but he decided on Louisville instead. I have no idea when Nunge and Epperson plan to make decisions on visits, and/or decide. The picture usually becomes clearer in August and September because most Fall signee's like to decide before the BBall season starts.

Epperson just blew up in July. It will be interesting to see if he will sign early, or wait until Spring.

Nunge looks like our guy. Never really understand what these kids wait for, just better offers to come along? If I were in a situation where a school I liked offered me a scholarship, I would commit. Guess I, like many, will never understand the recruiting process and the mentality of a major college athlete.

FWIW, and that might not be much, 247Sports has both Garza and Nunge at a 67% probability to attend Iowa.

I think Garza will sign in the early signing period. I like his inside/outside game. Big body who can shoot.

Tough competition for Luka's, hoping Fran's early and consistent recruitment is the key to getting him to Iowa City.

Not 100% sold on Garza as a big improvement over our young bigs. Seems like a prototypical ND big guy to me, and I'll bet he ends up in South Bend. .

Garza or Nunge would be great. Seems like Garza is more highly regarded, but I really like what I saw in Nunge's tape.

He looks like he could be a pretty good prototypical big guy anywhere. There's a reason he has a lot of offers

What is 247 sports' track record predicting recruiting? Sounds promising.
It's promising but doesn't mean a whole lot. The people who make the picks all have pretty high percentages of accuracy with their picks, but often what happens is they find out where the person is going to commit (or will likely commit) within a day of the commitment, and then they all switch their picks over to that team.

So (example) if we were to find out that Luka or Jack are committing on August 25th, and in the next couple of days saw the votes swing one way or another, then that would mean a lot more. Right now most of them probably don't know much (any) more than we do.

They are iffy at best. If I remember correctly, they had Riley LaChance (Vanderbilt) coming to Iowa and Uhl going to Temple a day or two before they committed.
