Luka is not only arguably the best Hawkeye men's basketball player ever, he's a pretty good recruiter.

In the late second round you are taking chances on guys, if you miss, oh well. Luka is one of those guys, and I think most of us believe he is gonna be one of those guys that hits.

Nailed it. He is now part of the top 17 and by the time training camp is over he might make the 15-man roster.

Luka is already part of the Pistons' 17 man roster.

If Luka does not make the full 15 man roster this year, there's money available next year.

Do you think Tyler Cook will ever find a Reggie Evans type of fit with a team where he can stick long term in the NBA? Or do you think he eventually ends up overseas?
There is always a spot in the NBA for someone with a dominant skill set in one or two areas, more so than someone with a nice all around game. Reggie was a dominant rebounder. Rodman couldn't shoot, but he was an elite defender and a dominant rebounder. Korver as a shooter is another example.

i was hoping Tyler would find his niche as a rebounder, especially with his athleticism

at least NBA clubs are still giving him a look and a chance
