I'm shocked that Ayo wasn't also unanimous. Who they heck voted for someone else over him for first team?
He's on the second team along with Suggs. Crazy to have three guys on the first two teams.......
maybe this is a good thing. everyone is talking Gonzaga this, Gonzaga that. We're a 2 seed and a top 8 team in the country & no one gives us a shot.
I have seen some say we will struggle w/ Grand Canyon because of their bigs.
I have heard others talk about Oregon & their speed & athleticism., and how that will give us fits.

Genuinely surprised Joe W didn't earn an honorable mention nod. Looking at the stats of the 20+ guys who were honorable mention, I would say averaging 15 and 6 while shooting 47% from 3-pt range is better than Michigan's Franz Wagner who averaged 12 and 6 while shooting 38% from 3-pt range.
Been there believe me IllQCHawk. I assume you live in the QC on the Illinois side? Whats new up that way? I grew up in Davenport and lived there until moving to St Louis in 86, then to KC in 89 both for work promotions. Haven't got back to the QC much since both my parents passed quite a few years ago.

Off topic....the big thing going on here is the new I-74 bridge being built. Other then that, same ole same ole. Both spans should be finished by the end of the year. If you want to get a look at them. go the YouTube I-74 bridge construction.
