Good match and closer than score indicated. Both tough...and Turk beat both.
I wouldn't write off Happel quite yet. Whoever can continue to improve the most will man this spot. I think it's Murin but I'd sure love to see him at 133 if it were possible.

Happel looked bigger and stronger than Murin. I thought he controlled the hand fighting for most of the match. Murin’s counter offense won him the match.
He should look bigger and stronger given a year in the Iowa wrestling room. That Murin is already even or ahead of Happel speaks well for how good he is.
Carter needs to work on his quickness(feet), and his strength. Murin is noticably smaller and still won. I think Murin will take this weight next year and run with it.

Happel reminds me of the Moore's and the Ballwegs. I hope I'm wrong and he has a way better career than any of them!
Yep, good match. Both guys represented themselves pretty well. Happel kept coming, gotta give him credit for that for sure. Good to have plenty of good guys around just in case.
