Let’s thank the SEC and ACC for staying sane through all this. If they had followed the Big Ten and closed up shop, I don’t think the idea of restarting would have been revisited by anyone.

I think the ACC was the key. SEC was always going to try. Big 12 had 6 of their 10 in Texas and Oklahoma. Outside of Clemson wasn't a sure thing they would want to play.
