As with most series, I came late to this one in my quest for treadmill material. Have watched the first half dozen episodes. Some thoughts:
* Will probably keep watching. It's good enough for treadmill work.
* Do not understand why the guys keep hitting on Peggy. An extremely plain young woman with personality to match.
* They grossly overdo the cultural references, just beat us over the head with it. Constantly emphasizing behavioral and attitudinal things that are different today. Smoking, of course, is the most obvious. But the way they depict the treatment of women is, I think, grossly exaggerated.
* Disclaimer: At the time in question, I was in junior high school in rural Iowa. It is just possible that the culture on Madison Avenue among adults was somewhat different.
