MAGA... how is it going to work?

Alright MAGA... talk me off the ledge. How is this going to be good? Ignoring the social issues and just focusing on the economy how is trump going to make this better?

My current view is he's going to institute these blanket tarrifs and the price of goods will skyrocket. Elon has said the economy is going to crash. Do I just ignore that as bluster? Why would he say that if it wasn't? How do I just ignore that? Does he have some kind of magical tarrifs that are different than the tarrifs the rest of us are familiar with that are going to make things better?

Trump has also said he is going to deport immigrants in mass. Everything I've read is that is going to be devastating to the economy. From your perspective how is this a good thing? What does taking workers away do to benefit us?

Please avoid comments about the other side I'm not looking for a comparison on what the other option would have been I'm genuinely trying to feel better about what the future holds because it's hard not to see it as bleak.

We didn't see inflation previously when Trump imposed tariffs. This time won't be any different. Additionally, many companies will move their manufacturing to the U.S. -- which will have many positive impacts.

We should fire a bunch of government workers. If they want to work, they can perform many of the jobs being performed by the migrant workers.

It's more like, I'm sorry Mr. Smith that you had a 2.0 GPA in liberal arts. That investment didn't payoff. You should have probably taken an accounting class or two.

And by the way, you won't have a government pension when picking apples. Hopefully, you will make better investment decisions as you move forward in your life.

And by the way, social security won't be there when you are of retirement age.
