I would have been against this but Clark's injury changed things a bit. If Tom thinks he can score points, than we need everything we can get to get him prepped for nationals. I'm guessing if everything goes to plan tonight, we don't see him. But just seeing him warming up and weighing in....his shirt's getting pulled at some point. Also, one could think this was Tom's plan all along and that's why we haven't seen him at any of the opens.
Maybe getting him ready for back to back weigh ins like at midlands? Maybe he's driving to cedar falls after weighing in
Weight is not really an issue with him. I think he only cuts about ten pounds.

They can travel and still redshirt. At least in football they can so I would assume it is the same in wrestling.

I see it just the opposite. An injured Clark means absolutely no NC this year. So I wouldn't pull any shirts; retain everybody's eligibility for as long as possible.

Next year, we will be in a hole with rookie starters at 125,133,141,165 (if Marinelli), 174...take the down year to get better and come back with a seasoned team with Lee and Warner in the lineup with an outside shot of Teasdale being in the lineup.

How about Kem and AM drop down a weight (seems to be their natural weight now) and keep Gunther at 165. I think he's going to be pretty decent.

Why not test the Bull at UNI against Lewis and IMar? See where he stacks up at this point.

I wouldn't waste a lot of time trying to figure out what Brands thought process is in regards to Marinelli. It could be a myriad of things, most of which will neither be confirmed or denied by Brands.
