Randy?Were the Barber's twins? Can't remember, Rodney...
If you add the III behind his name, yes. I was thinking Tiki and Ronde...Was he the RB who had a really big day vs. the Hawks one Saturday?
Yeah he did in 2004. Forgot he played for the GophersWas he the RB who had a really big day vs. the Hawks one Saturday?
I might be thinking of a guy named Thompson(?) I remember it waß one of the longest afternoons I ever spent in Kinnick...If you add the III behind his name, yes. I was thinking Tiki and Rodney...
Can’t find the game highlights but plenty on this yearly highlight. What a game! And a typical Iowa win.
- Chad Greenway's tackle of Marion Barber III for a four-yard loss on second down in the closing seconds of the 2004 game remains one of the most clutch tackles of the decade; it pushed the potential game-winning field goal back just far enough that Rhys Lloyd shanked it. Iowa got outrushed 337 to 6 and won the game; 2004 was a weird, weird year.

Darrell Thompson. Must have been 1989, because we won the other 3 games in his career. Lost 43 - 7 that year in Kinnick...I might be thinking of a guy named Thompson(?) I remember it waß one of the longest afternoons I ever spent in Kinnick...
Oh my, look at those refs' straw hats in the throwback game! I never knew that until now. Can’t find the game highlights but plenty on this yearly highlight. What a game! And a typical Iowa win.

I was there with about a dozen friends and my gf. My last classes were that Fall, so I tried to go to every home and away game I could. We were so sure we were going to lose until that Greenway TFL out if nowhere. The Gophers were driving and it seemed the only time Barber didn’t go for four yards or more the other direction was on that last play. He was incredible that game. RIP.

Laurence MaroneyI dont think he was a twin, but there was another really good running back who's Gopher career overlapped. I can't remember his name but Barber and he were a very good one two punch for a year or two.
