I'm confident he'll adjust. New circumstances are difficult for any kicker to adjust to. The operation (snap & hold, plus the kick) takes a lot of reps/time to get accustomed to.
There was no mention made about KOs in the article. I wonder if the the pros must run kicking comps like college does; no KOs till fall camp.
I always wondered about Iowa going for it more often this year on 4th down's inside the 20.
For the record the kick at Pittsburgh in 2014 was big time. Heinz field is one of the more difficult stadiums to kick a long fg. And yeah the kick at Kinnick vs Pitt was also big time..
Where in Jupiter are you? I have a sister in The Shores.
The Shores is a great neighborhood. How long has she lived in Jupiter? I live on the south east side on Marcinski and US 1. Almost on the Juno Beach/Jupiter line. Been here for about...5 years. I bought at a really good time. Jupiter is a great town, growing fast.
You are confident he'll adjust? He missed 4-5 PAT's last season.I'm confident he'll adjust. New circumstances are difficult for any kicker to adjust to. The operation (snap & hold, plus the kick) takes a lot of reps/time to get accustomed to.

Paging Robbie GouldI like Koehn, but I don't think he's ever shown the consistency it takes to make it as a kicker in the NFL. He has shown flashes of brilliance, but he still struggled with extra points and short field goals during his time at Iowa. With his leg power, there will always be NFL teams interested if he can prove that he can be consistent, but if he hasn't done that by now I'm not sure how realistic it is to believe he will ever find it.
If you're missing PAT's, it's likely more mental than anything. I too think he'll be able to figure it outYou are confident he'll adjust? He missed 4-5 PAT's last season.
