Attendance at the Maryland game was announced at a generous 30,000. Jeez, you could have fired a cannon into the stands and not hit anybody. Pretty sad.

I was there. I’d say there was half that number actually there.Attendance at the Maryland game was announced at a generous 30,000. Jeez, you could have fired a cannon into the stands and not hit anybody. Pretty sad.
Echo Echo Echo…. There wasn’t 3000 there lol but seriously I highly doubt they had 20K thereAttendance at the Maryland game was announced at a generous 30,000. Jeez, you could have fired a cannon into the stands and not hit anybody. Pretty sad.
I still don't get the Rutgers addition. Yeah, I know....that NY TV market. There were plenty of B1G alum there already... you telling me the B1G had no presence?I'm not sure what the BIG was thinking inviting them and Rutgers to the conference. Two shitty fan bases
I remember that type of games in the 60's and 70's in Kinnick. Would buy knot hole tickets and slip up to the 50-yard line 40 rows up to watch ND pound Iowa.Attendance at the Maryland game was announced at a generous 30,000. It was great to hear "Let's Go Hawks" on TV pretty clearlyI was there as well. Pretty good Iowa contingent, they got louder than Maryland fans as game progressed. Gotta say I really liked Terp fans, had friendly conversations with several of them.
I'm sure the seniors understood.Iowa not really a sexy opponent to sell either if we are being honest. Mid November, bad Maryland team, Iowa as your opponent. Kind of adds up.
Jim Delany was a Jersery guy, so we have him to thank.I still don't get the Rutgers addition. Yeah, I know....that NY TV market. There were plenty of B1G alum there already... you telling me the B1G had no presence?
Lot's of tv sets in and around New Jersey and Maryland. The Big 10 knows that if they can get really good viewership when the original teams play out east and yet another 100,000 viewers then the ratings will be find for that time slot.I still don't get the Rutgers addition. Yeah, I know....that NY TV market. There were plenty of B1G alum there already... you telling me the B1G had no presence?
All 100 of them. What an embarrassment to the Big 10, no one ever cared to show up for a Big 10 football game. Flipping over to the OSU vs Indy game, then back to the Hawk/Terp funeral was embarrassing.I was there as well. Pretty good Iowa contingent, they got louder than Maryland fans as game progressed. You could hear a cheerleader fart clearly too. What an awful matchup and game. Waste of time.It was great to hear "Let's Go Hawks" on TV pretty clearly
I enjoyed the game. Good seats. Hawks played well. Terps fans were friendly. I had a beer during the second half. You could hear a cheerleader fart clearly too. What an awful matchup and game. Waste of time.
Make that 3 shitty fanbases with Nebber.I'm not sure what the BIG was thinking inviting them and Rutgers to the conference. Two shitty fan bases
Just you wait when a couple thousand of those drunken locusts show up in Kinnick on Friday.Make that 3 shitty fanbases with Nebber.
I would go to Iowa City too if I lived in that shitty state.Just you wait when a couple thousand of those drunken locusts show up in Kinnick on Friday.
