I think the last time isu had a first round draft pick the NFL was touting how they now have TV broadcasts in color. This alone is super impressive to today’s kids and will surely attract 4 star recruits to isu.
I have no idea on kids' sensibilities these days. Brees and Brady have been at it at a high level for 30+ years combined. One the all time passing yard leader, the other is probably the GOAT. As fun as Mahomes has been to watch, he's 6 weeks in.

Lol, no one gives a fvck if teams were ranked when they played. Where they end up at the end of the year is all that matters. A win over a shitty Oklahoma State team is not impressive. Just like a win over a once-ranked Auburn this year is not impressive.
ISU has played 2 ranked teams this year: OU and Iowa. Iowa will have played 2 ranked teams after this weekend: Wisconsin and PSU.

Your point makes sense, but for the record, you forgot West Virginia. And in two weeks, Texas. That's two in the current Top Ten OU & UT) and two others in the second ten (UI and WV).
I realize there aren't many rational people posting in this thread, but for the two or three who might be out there, I think we can agree that this season there is maybe one great team and a handful of others who are capable of playing a great game but not every week.
