Maryland Senator Heads to El Salvador to Check on Man Deported From His State

My best guess is she declined to press charges for the same reason countless other battered women also decline to press charges - because they’re worried the beatings will intensify once the guy gets out of jail. And in her case there was also the possibility that he could be deported if she pressed charges and he was convicted.
So that woman was telling the truth when she said she was abused by a Supreme Court justice?

Do you really think the details of the two cases are even remotely comparable?

Vasquez immediately went to the authorities and filed a court document requesting a protective order. She stated as a matter of public record that Garcia punched her, scratched her, ripped her shirt, and left her with bruises.

Blasey Ford never filed charges. Never pursued any legal action, criminal or civil. Never said a word to anyone. Just sat on it for 35 years and then all of a sudden decided to go public when Kavanaugh was nominated to the SCOTUS. She doesn’t recall how she got home that night and had trouble narrowing the date down any closer than a three-year window. And her own best friend, who supposedly was the only other girl at the party, not only doesn’t remember her being assaulted but doesn’t even remember them being there or ever being present at any party where Kavanauagh was present.

So there are a couple of holes in her story.

Was he charged and convicted like Trump?

Yes, lean on the prosecution rate for domestic abuse. Better than trying to pretend a sworn statement about this abuse never happened, but not quite to the ‘believe all women’ level of virtue.

Jean Carroll says Trump raped her. And a jury convicted him.

Careful, millions have been paid for the lie you just told.

Dec 15, 2024 — ... Trump to settle a defamation lawsuit after its star anchor falsely said he had been found "liable for rape".

Should Trump be deported.

Where in the law do we deport American citizens?

Do we believe women, or only when it’s convenient.

Back at ya, pal.

I believe Garcia wife for what she states.

She didn’t deny the abuse, did she?

He wasn’t charged, period. Claim what you want dipshit, she stands by him. Last I clecked Carroll said Trump raped her and a jury found for her even if it was labeled under sexual abuse. Are you disputing facts? You truly are looney tunes. And fyi Trump literally said he wants to send US citizens and now his czar says anyone who says these immigrants should have due process are aiding and abetting. So is he going after the judge that ruled him in contempt or the Supreme Court? As to Garcia wife she said she overreacted but he wasn’t perfect either but they have worked it out. Those are the facts as we know them. There have also been no other calls since then. So yes I believe Garcias wife and I also believe Carroll. Can you say the same. Literally everything you just posted was false or misleading.

Which part do you believe? The story she’s telling the press now or the story she told a court of law four years ago?
Cases like this are routinely handled this way by Courts across America! Spouses “file charges” against each other and in many cases, they “drop” these charges before any court time is scheduled.
What’s the issue here? Anyone claiming the guy is a Boy Scout? Anyone here saying the gal didn’t tell what happened?
Jeebus Christmas… this stuff happens ALL the time…

ALL the time? How many times have you punched your wife? How many times have you scratched her and ripped her shirt? How many times have you left her with bruises? How many times has she obtained a court order requiring you to vacate your own house?

Maybe I just haven’t experienced all that life has to offer, but I’ve been married 32 years and I’ve never done any of those things.

Why does it matter in regard to this case? He was given a withholding from removal to El Salvador by the courts. The Trump administration sent him to El Salvador because of a clerical error. All the prisoners sent to El Salvador were denied due process. No amount of "dirt" on these prisoners justifies ignoring the constitution. Surely you are not okay with the Trump administration violating the constitution, are you?

I’m not okay with Trump violating the Constitution. But I also don’t like carrying water for guys who beat their wives.

Read the daily police reports, moron.
This stuff happens thousands of times a day in America.
Take your faux outrage elsewhere… or wise grew up abd see what’s going on around you.

You're definitely missing the big picture here.

Which is typical behavior from abused spouses, dipshit.

Trump wasn’t charged nor convicted of rape.

In your own words, why did ABC settle with Trump for 15 million dollars?

Here’s what the BBC wrote (and I linked above):

ABC News has agreed to pay $15m (£12m) to US President-elect Donald Trump to settle a defamation lawsuit after its star anchor falsely said he had been found "liable for rape".
George Stephanopoulos made the statements repeatedly during an interview on 10 March this year while challenging a congresswoman about her support for Trump.

As to Garcia wife she said she overreacted but he wasn’t perfect either but they have worked it out.

She didn’t deny it, she’s just excusing it now. This is typical for abused spouses to do, if you didn’t know.

The BBC article was false?
The sworn statement in the protective order was false?
You’ve presented nothing to refute them.

It's just much easier to call Trump a rapist than a sexual assaulter, if that's even the term. From now on, we should just say he's a finger rapist, and that should make everyone happy.

Well, if it happens thousands of times a day then I suppose it’s okay.

I guess I’ll go home tonight and punch my wife in the face a couple times and rip her shirt off. And if she gives me any back sass about it then I’ll remind her that’s just how life is in America, bitch.

Well then TJ, don’t beat your wife!
Pretty phuquin’ simple.
It’s all starting to make sense now. It’s kind of like the old adage about abortion, isn’t it?

“Don’t like abortion? Then don’t have one.”

“Don’t like domestic violence? Then don’t beat your wife.”

Where did I say it’s “ok”? I said it happens all the time everywhere. Police reports are filed and spouses retract them before court dates all the time.
I suggested that you NOT beat your wife if you don’t like the practice. But, you do what you think you must do.

People are imperfect. If what she said he did is true he’s a scumbag. But it isn’t relevant to the issue of him being deported on the basis of MS-13 gang membership.
It’s relevant to whether he should have already been deported before now.

I have no objection to people coming to the United States seeking to work hard and experience a better life. Hell, if I had been born in El Salvador I would want to get out of there too.

But if you commit a violent crime then you gotta go back.

What exactly is the point of repeatedly mentioning that it’s a common thing if you’re not trying to minimize it?

Domestic violence is simply unacceptable no matter how many guys do it and no matter how many wives decline to press charges.

According to The LAW as practiced in the United States, a filing of charges is NOT admitting any culpability of a crime.
The charges were DROPPED before a court hearing was held.
Whether you like it or not, the guy has no criminal record. It matters not what you think. It is a matter of law.

Because it DOES happens every day! I don’t minimize it…I suggest you not do it.
Which do you find more distasteful TJ…domestic abuse or denying one their (in America at least) a person their God-given right to “due process” under the law”

Was he convicted? Things can get heated in a marriage. Especially amongst poor people. Almost all arguments are economic in basis. Idk, the inner workings of their marriage. Right now this is no different than the allegations against Hegseth for instance. Other than them being more numerous.

Let’s do it this way.

1. Did Jean Carroll accuse Trump of rape? Yes or no
2. Did Trump lose said case by a jury of his peers and ordered to pay Carroll even if it was labeled under sexual assault/abuse.

Effectively in this case, based on your criteria, Trump did rape Carroll because thats what she said, but a Jury did not find Trump liable for rape, only for sexual abuse, because he was given due process. See how the system works.

In regards to Garcia and his wife types I can fully believe her, even state he may have assaulted her. You know what though, our system works on the judicial system. It doesn’t look at just a statement which could be false. The defendant is giving due process and an ability to defend himself. Currently he has no significant criminal history so the White House and you are trying to make this a trial of public opinion rather than an actual trial because the Whie house F’d up. If you say Garcia doesn’t deserve due process it’s a slippery slope saying no one deserves due process. Trump is already talking about sending Us citizens there. It’s literally the hitler playbook. Again you are looney toons.

Illegal, MS-13 gang member, and wife beater.

A real all-world POS.

Just the kind of guy Democrats will die on a hill for.

What have the Democrats become? Good God. White Knighting this puke.

Pure photo op for the braindead.
Propaganda dupes ⬆️.

The recidivism rate for those without a prior criminal record who go through rehabilitation is 24%. One quarter reoffending. So you’re for giving up Constitutional Rights and selling Americans to El Salvadoran prisons now because on guy ****ed up 4 years ago in an argument? Don't be this stupid, guys.
