To be fair, it is believable though. Matt Campbell struggles to control his temper sometimes because he's a little biotch.Apparently this is “garbage” as it was reported by a Cyclone internet sight 15 minutes ago..
I can’t verify anywhere… and no one else is reporting it…
Hard to believe that info like this can get into the internet!
No. He's tainted.I'd take him to be the coach at Iowa after KF retires/is fired.
Hard passI'd take him to be the coach at Iowa after KF retires/is fired.
Why? What he is doing at ISU is exceptional. Iowa could do worse.Hard pass
I'd take him to be the coach at Iowa after KF retires/is fired.
He reminds me of a younger KF.Why? What he is doing at ISU is exceptional. Iowa could do worse.
And Iowa can and will do better. Why? What he is doing at ISU is exceptional. Iowa could do worse.
Yeah, maybe. Given the landscape of college football, who knows what the AD or Admin will do? BB? Hire internally (a mistake IMO), looks to hire becaue "culture"? I still think Campbell would be a good hire, he is a good coach. And Iowa can and will do better.
I think Campbell is a guy you get to build a program and inject culture and enthusiasm. He’s good at that.Yeah, maybe. Given the landscape of college football, who knows what the AD or Admin will do? You could be right, but given the $$ Iowa has and maybe his ability to attack and utilize the portal, he could elevate a very moribund Iowa program that is stale and stuck in the "old ways" of college football. I just think the old tried and true Iowa 3*/walk-on development program isn't the path to possibly a bid in the football playoffs.I think Campbell is a guy you get to build a program and inject culture and enthusiasm. I think Iowa needs to look for a guy that can elevate and already solid program into something better. Not sure who all fits that bill, but Campbell does not.
Iowa would have been in the playoffs under KF.You could be right, but given the $$ Iowa has and maybe his ability to attack and utilize the portal, he could elevate a very moribund Iowa program that is stale and stuck in the "old ways" of college football. I just think the old tried and true Iowa 3*/walk-on development program isn't the path to possibly a bid in the football playoffs.
What do you mean? Iowa had a chance to be in the playoffs in 2015 but gave up a 9 minute, 15 play, 95 yard touchdown drive. But hey, who's counting.Iowa would have been in the playoffs under KF.
Uh - the current playoffs will have 3-4 big 10 teams in it most years. What do you mean? Iowa had a chance to be in the playoffs in 2015 but gave up a 9 minute, 15 play, 95 yard touchdown drive. But hey, who's counting.
Anyway, we are talking about the future, not 9 years ago, or 15 years ago, or 22 years ago.
Agree with that. Need a super creative mind like Cignetti at Indiana. You could be right, but given the $$ Iowa has and maybe his ability to attack and utilize the portal, he could elevate a very moribund Iowa program that is stale and stuck in the "old ways" of college football. I just think the old tried and true Iowa 3*/walk-on development program isn't the path to possibly a bid in the football playoffs.
Nope…don’t want him at Iowa.I'd take him to be the coach at Iowa after KF retires/is fired.
