I forgot how much MM was an in your face relentless grinder on the mat. The dude was forehead to forehead hand fighting at all times. Wish the injuries his senior season wouldn't have happened as he is an All Time Hawk.

Only twice in my adult life have I gotten a little misty watching a sporting event....

7 got 6 was one and watching McDonough lose in the WB round in Des Moines, ending his chance to be a 4x AA. He was great and had a heart like Secretariat!
