A lot of scholarship offers have been extended over the last week or so. With the exception of the GA LB who was committed to Rut and now has a visit with us and Ole miss i have not seen any other offers put out. I still think this class needs to get to 22. MAYBE TODAY IS THE DAYWE SEE MORE OFFERS GO OUT?

The AFCA Coaches Convention is January 7-10 this week.

The contact period for recruiting opens back up on January 12. Definitely could see offers before then, but that's when things will really start to pick up with coaches visiting schools and in-homes with prospects.

I hear ya. Thanks as always Blair. My limited understanding is there are still approved ways to offer during this time but a coach cannot physically speak with the recruit via phone? Is that correct? Do you still see this class ending around 21-22? I could totally see our staff wanting to talk directly with people but it seems we may be starting the 2nd lap of a race at a disadvantage.

Coaches can still talk to recruits on the phone and via text, direct message, etc. even during the dead period.

Yeah, I'm going with the 20-22 number they gave us on signing day in December, which would mean 2-4 more.

Sounds like we could have several more guys to find before it's all said and done. Very interested to see who they go after.
