McCann/Reiners/Mullen/Beutjer - 1999 and 2000 QB play

All four of these guys got starts in 1999 and 2000. Does anyone remember specifically why we went from one QB to the next, ie why McCann got the start against Nebraska and ISU in '99, but then we went with Reiners for 4 games before going to Scott Mullen until game 5 of the next season?
