Here's an idea...pass a bill and let him decide. He can take the heat, he said so. When was legislation turned over to the POTUS?

"I'm looking for something that President Trump supports, and he's not yet indicated what measure he's willing to sign," he said. "As soon as we figure out what he is for, then I would be convinced that we are not just spinning our wheels to this issue on the floor, but actually dealing with a bill that has a chance to become law and therefore solve the problem."

Mr. Trump has not been clear on the specifics of what he wants in an immigration deal, though he's participated in several discussions on the issue over the past week. He has endorsed protecting so-called "Dreamers," making permanent the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, but he also reportedly has demanded $20 billion in funding for construction of his proposed wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.

Trump doesn't know what he wants because he hasn't watched Fox for a few days. He's too busy consulting with lawyers during the Bannon testimony.

And it's obvious the Republicans in Congress won't commit to something Trump doesn't understand. The GOP is a Party with so many special interest factions that can't agree and compromise.

As always... they'll be some guy that rides in at the eleventh hour with something to kick the can down the road.

Yep. A $20 billion wall is stupid. And shipping kids to a country they know nothing about is stupid, too.

Yep, tremendous waste of money on an ineffective wall that could have been spent on more effective methods, while shipping away kids to a country of which they know nothing, who have done nothing wrong because of the sins of their parents is simply cruel and un-American.

It's ironic, but Trump's family is full of immigrants who probably wouldn't be here if they had to play by his rules. Take his own mother for example. She came here with no skills and was allowed to stay almost solely because her sister was living here and was married. Or consider Trump's own grandfather. He ran away from his home country and settled here because apparently where he was from was too much of a shithole.

You do realize that the immigration laws are not "Trumps rules" right? I get that you hate all things Trump and you are blinded by that hate; but him enforcing the laws that are already on the books is not an issue. If you want the laws changed that's fine, get them changed. But, until then, these "Dreamers" are in fact here illegally and they know it as do you. Trying to ignore this won't change the facts, they are in violation of the law and if they are indeed held accountable then so be it. If the government elects to continue providing amnesty then that's fine too.

what i find interesting is that a kid brought here by their parents when they were very young and has been here for 30 is not ok but since the constitution says that any idiot can travel here with the sole purpose of having a child and it's a citizen but that's ok.
You want a starting point, how's about children born in the US to non US citizens are not US citizens. Why does location of birth mean anything. Same goes for a child of a US citizen born abroad, does it really matter? Their parents are American.
This isn't the 17-1800's where travel was by ship.

trump will sign anything put in front of him because he has no idea what any of it means anyway. As long as he can sign something in front of a camera and hold up his signature that looks like a picture of the Grand Tetons, he's tickled pink.

I think there was a move by some Democrats to legalize murder because Trump criticized how much of it is happening in Chicago.

Apparently not,... If that were true Lindsey Graham and Dick Durbin would likely be happy campers right now...
