Jack Devlin usually only attends Iowa home games. Sunday was a special occasion because Jack's uncle, Ed Conroy, is a Goofer assistant, so Jack joined the team for its visit to the Barn.

Stuff like this really puts into perspective that the wins and losses is not the only thing this program is about. Really thankful to have a leader like Fran. He’s been on the right side of a lot of trending topics during his time at Iowa, and it’s obvious how much his players enjoy playing for him.

Love how his parents let him be ... just Jack, as well the doctor who green lit the approach. Never wanted to limit him. Great kid and great, loving family.

We first met Jack two years ago, on Feb 16, 2020. See the orig post for that "Journey" segment.

His dad was interviewed yesterday by 590, the FAN, Canada's #1 Sports Radio Station, which is home to the Toronto Blue Jays, Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors.

Jack's dad, by the way, is the Play by Play voice of the Toronto Raptors.

This is 3 minutes of pure gold.
