I don't think we should even concern ourselves with the RPI just yet. I mean, Middle Tennessee State seventh? How can they possibly NOT be number one!?!?
The rpi has become less a factor thankfully. It's value evaluating teams has come and gone. There are much better ways to determine who is in and who is out.

300+ teams absolutely kill your RPI. Sometimes it's hard to predict. It won't matter this year, but will in the very near future.

For the most part, I think coach Fran and the Athletic dept. do a good job with basketball scheduling. I would like to see a high profile, nationally televised, out-of-conference game scheduled down the road. They have hinted at it in the past.

You mean the three we played this year?
