Wow, Izzo and two media writers from East Lansing kept Kansas from being unanimous on both polls. That is kind of weird for the way this season has went in college basketball. Of course, Kansas could lose tonight at Texas.

Just think, MSU moves back to #1, the Hawks get the shipwreck turned upright and they could have a chance to knock off a #1 ranked MSU twice in one season. That would be something that probably has not been done too many times.

ISU has a chance to knock off their second #1 team this Saturday at Kansas though Oklahoma was the #1 team they beat earlier when they were #1. Kansas was #4 when they lost at Hilton. It will be a tall order to win @ Kansas but ISU has beat them four of the last five meetings which includes two Big 12 tournaments. It was neat for both Iowa and Iowa State to have a chance to play #1 teams in the same year which doesn't happen often, then was extra special when they both won and it would be a real barn burner if both could do it the second time in the same year.

The way KU is playing now, ain't NOBODY gonna beat them in Larryville.

This thread has nothing to do with the big xii. Is Paul's site now that deplorable that isu fans just have to come to HR each and every day with their drivel.

Makes me laugh to read the propaganda spewed from the likes of the 'newspaper all Iowa depends on....' from dyed in the wool isu fans and supposed sports journalists/media. All they need do is spend fifteen minutes reading what is on here to better understand.

Bit of a reality check. We're better than we feel right now, but not as good as we thought. PSU is now a top 100 RPI, so no "bad" loses.

We really drew the crappy short stick with our Big schedule, we only play the 4 worst teams once and we got Maryland on the road. However, as well as Indiana is playing, not sure it makes a difference. And the timing of our games with MSU was perfect.
