Earlier this year the Iowa beat writers decided they want to give an award to one of the Iowa players who was good with their time with us and also handled themselves in an outstanding way in all social interactions. Credit to Scott Dochterman for really being the driving force behind this award. He and Chad gave the award to Kaevon Merriweather tonight at a team meeting. He was very surprised.
