Watching a bit on Al Jaz. In Seoul, attendance at sporting events, movies, restaurants and such is down 35%. Ditto for tourism. On line shopping up over 50%. Streets and sidewalks lightly traveled.
So even though spread and deaths are fairly low, the economic impact could become serious.
The CDC guy last night said the mortality rate is over 40%, iirc. Not easy to catch, but not a risk you want to take.
They aren't sure how it's spread yet but it seems to require close contact with an infected person or surfaces they have recently touched. Intimate contact is not required.
