Moose meat is very edible, and I'm sure he will mount the head and antlers. He shot it in Alaska, right after the worlds.

bhmetcalf Success! What an amazing experience! I came in with hopes of getting my first moose with a bow and the scenario played out that it would be impossible. So I picked up a friends rifle to get the job done. One shot 375 yards. An amazing animal in some of the most beautiful country you will ever see. I thank God for this wonderful blessing as we were faced with a lot of difficulties and small odds. To boot I was able to provide many of the local friends and families that helped along the way with meat that would get them until next season and beyond. The Alaskan people and lifestyle was a refreshing view of generosity and simplicity that is often hard to find in the lower 48.
