Looks like they're about to win their conference championship game.
Nope they've been pretty bad recentlyI think they have won 6 or 7 of the last eight MAC Championships.
Hmm, thought I read that on the ESPN bottom line. Could be I didn't read it right. Thanks for the correction.Nope they've been pretty bad recently
This is their first MAC Championship since 2010I think they have won 6 or 7 of the last eight MAC Championships.
That should boost our SOS and get us into the final 4
All good. It wouldn't surprise me if ESPN just messed up, they do that crap all the timeHmm, thought I read that on the ESPN bottom line. Could be I didn't read it right. Thanks for the correction.
Huh? Solich isn't at Miami of Ohio. He's at Ohio.Great way to send Coach Solich out, after the shabby treatment he got at Nebraska...

Manny Rugamba won defensive player of the game. There’s your Iowa connectionWho cares? This is an Iowa board, not a Miami of Ohio board.

Posted quickly, without thinking. Age requires a little time delay, and I didn't! Sorry, Ghost and all-Huh? Solich isn't at Miami of Ohio. He's at Ohio.

You do realize Iowa played Miami of Ohio this year don't you?

So what? Should that impress me that Iowa beat a MAC team, a team they should beat? No it doesn't.[/QUOTE
No need to be “impressed”. I ( along with other fans) are interested in how Iowa opponents (and future opponents) perform against other competition. I know many fans have no interest how ANY other team not named Hawkeyes does. I watched Miami of Ohio games more this season because Iowa had played them. It was pretty easy to figure out what the thread was about by the title. Not interested ( or impressed)? Don’t open the thread. Miami of Ohio wining the MAC absolutely could effect Iowa SOS therefore having an affect in rankings so yes this thread has a place on the Iowa Football board.

Since 2010 Iowa is 3-0 in the regular season against the eventual MAC champion. In fact we are 2-0 the last two years.
Man, you post on here less than twice a month since 2010 and already have two in this thread. Miami of Ohio talk has you pretty fired up.So what? Should that impress me that Iowa beat a MAC team, a team they should beat? No it doesn't.
No one is trying to impress you. Get over yourself. So what? Should that impress me that Iowa beat a MAC team, a team they should beat? No it doesn't.
And Iowa isn’t the only school that has lost to a non P5 school and they won’t be the last either. Yes, they should beat them but it was still a good win. If he wasn’t such a douche about it no one would have batted an eye.It was clearly an a-hole post by him but in the end he's right. In the grand scheme of things Iowa should beat a MAC opponent 10 out of 10 times. I know back in the Christenson (sp) era we lost to one of the directional Michigan schools, but in most cases we are a 3 touchdown favorite in these games.

Up to three now; you're on fire!Nice comeback keyboard muscles.
I guess I have and I would not have been impressed with Fleck in the first place.Have you forgotten the dominance of one PJ Fleck?

Looking at your posting history, it's clear there is one topic you don't like to talk about, and that's Iowa Football. You apparently like to talk about Miami of Ohio, College Football Playoff, Lane Kiffin, and Iowa State though, so there is that.
@OC guru claims we play one of the easiest schedules in college football. You must be mistaken.
