So you can't come up with a single reason why Ash would be put on scholarship and not Baer?

Yes, Fran helped get him a 2 year scholarship instead of a walk-on or 1 year opportunity

Plus Fran can give two more scholarships if there is another player that would give a significant contribution to the team...
But CJF left us way behind other teams.
His uncle mentioned that help was on the way a few months ago. Siena was definitely tampering.
You've got 8 guys this season that are true freshman, or true/RS sophs. He's not going to get another freshman and unless there is someone interested in coming here who legitimately would start next year, why would you bring someone new in for one season? Then, why would you just let the scholarship lie empty. Seems like a simple thing for the coach to do and too much hand wringing over nothing
