Michael had 23 rebounds in this game!
I missed something, what happened to his dad? In the thread about bad officals in junior high and high school ball, he was not one of those guys. Always professional, great to work with, was fair. So happy when he was reffing.
He actually had 13 rebounds to along with 6 assists, as is mentioned in the video.
It would be interesting to see a list of players in the NCAA this year who have reached those totals in the respective categories.

John Baer has stage 4, unfortunately terminal, bladder cancer. Doctors have stopped treatment.
A few days before this game, the players met with the head coach and insisted that they start Michael since his dad would be in attendance. This was the 2nd time this season Michael started a game. Michael had 5 points, 13 rebounds & 6 assists as his dad, mom, uncle, cousin, sister & brother watched.
Siena (10-5 overall, 4-0 MAAC) outscored Saint Peter's (7-8, 2-4) by 21 points in the 34 minutes Baer was on the court.

The trip to see Michael play really took a toll, but it was his last chance to attend. He had actually relocated there last season to attend all of the games.
So sad yet so inspiring. You can clearly see where Nick and Michael got their determination from. Rest in peace good sir.
