Given the nature of the injury, Its difficult to see how Michael can be medically cleared to ever play football again ..…. but that is pure speculation on my part based on very limited medical information. I suppose it is way too early in the recovery process to make any assessments. Still, it is a serious injury involving the cervical spine and football is a violent contact sport.. If he is able to play for the Hawkeyes at some point that will be a remarkable achievement for sure.

I'm guessing that if no spinal cord damage was done he should be able to play again I mean he's young right was hardware used in repairing the vertebrae obviously the kid thinks he can play again so I'm guessing the doctors haven't ruled it out.
