Michigan -11 vs PSU

Only way PSU keeps this close is if Michigan turns the ball over. Iowa would have won by double digits with average QB play.

Guess....Iowa should have won by 14 points. The blocked punt and the bad hike only cost PS 4 points. In a normal day one of those two should have been recovered for a touchdown. That adds 5 more points on Iowa's score.
Not to mention the over throw for a touchdown when the score was 14 to 7 at the time. And you mention the bad leg. It was so bad he ran 50 yards for a touchdown. I'm surprised he didn't trip on the crutches he was using???
Yep, you see it one way and the rest of the world see its another.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I think PSU can win this game as well, Michigan is notorious for falling apart down the stretch

Michigan is always good for one bad game. I’d like to think their performance vs ND was the bad game.

Michigan 45
PSU. 17

In a normal day, teams don't get 4 points from 2 blown snaps on punts. Penn State also fumbled inside their 10 yard line on 1st down play when they were about to go up by 17 points. PSU really should have won this game by 10+ points.

This is more realistic.

Penn St. got gifted 10 points from Iowa (the near pick six and the failed fake punt at the end of the 1H)- and Iowa’s self-inflicted wounds took 14 easy points off their own score (overthrow to a wide open receiver in 1H; Interception at the goal line late in the game). Penn St. out-executed Iowa when it mattered, but to say that PSU should have won by 10+ points is unbelievably stupid and completely devoid of reality. I would expect nothing less from a despicable fan base like PSU.

and Penn State hasn't lost a close game this year LOLZ..

Iowa
1) QB is a statue that couldn't create in art class full of scissors and glue sticks
2) OL is mediocre, can't pass protect against better DL's.. PSU is full of DE's that Iowa wished they would have
3) WR's get no separation, but then again they weren't offered by anybody who doesn't play in the MAC
4) Iowa hasn't had a high end RB since JoePa got bounced out of coaching
5) Iowa DB's are nothing but run support guys

Iowa is a well coached middle of the pack BIG team.. will never be anything more.. if they tried to run RPO with the garbage athletes they have they would be Illinois.

You mentioned Iowa gifted PSU with a near pick six. Well, guess what? PSU did give up an actual pick 6 to Iowa. On Iowa's first FG drive in the 1st quarter, your WR fumbles the ball and 2 PSU guys had a clean shot for the ball but not only does the Iowa guy recover it, but he gains an extra 5 yards during the recovery. PSU also fumbled the ball inside their on 10 when a TD would have put the game out of reach. This fumble was an unforced error, it wasn't due to any special play from the Iowa defense.

Can I make a suggestion? If Michigan wins by more than 14, will the Pedo trolls stay out of our forum?

You don’t appear to be very bright, so I will try to explain this slowly for you.

Claiming that Penn St. should have won by 10+ because they made a few mistakes, while simultaneously ignoring the mistakes that Iowa made, is incredibly stupid.

You are claiming that if Penn St. didn’t make those mistakes, they would have won by 10+. However, if Iowa didn’t make their critical mistakes, they would have won by 10+ as well. You don’t get to eliminate all the bad things that one team did, while leaving all the bad things their opponent did, and claim that proves the first team is clearly superior.

You are the one that seems to be eliminating all the mistakes PSU made in this game. In your eyes, Iowa was the only team that made mistakes Saturday night. I contend that PSU made more bone-headed, unforced errors in this game than Iowa did.

Sorry SG, you suck at evaluating players!

2 counter points:
1) 3 out of 4 of Iowa's DEs will be All Conference players. How about PSU?

2) Iowa has had 2 1st Team consensus all american DBs since 2015 (King '15, Jackson '17). Our young DBs are next in line and are doing just fine but not quite All Americans yet, just wait. I didn't see any PSU DBs on the list ...

Get your smug &*^% out of here! Enjoy the curb stomping Michigan will give you.

And on a normal day Nate doesn’t throw 31 incompletions, many of which were wide open receivers, including a wide open TJ which would put Iowa up 21-7, and throwing a pick at the 3 yard line. It works both ways, kiddo.
