For the first time in 7 years...

We are just now getting to see some tangible evidence of how starved Michigan fans are for the Jim Harbaugh era and just decent football.

Until now, it's been mostly a lot of cheery quotes about the excitement around town. But as Michigan held its spring game this past weekend, athletic director Jim Hackett noted a few things about how the fan base has responded to Harbaugh's hiring.

Most notably, Michigan has a wait list for season tickets for the first time in seven years.

There are about 1,500 fans waiting for the opportunity to buy multiple season tickets. Michigan has sold out all 81 luxury boxes for this season, which it didn't do last year. "We'll find out if there aren't any more new renewals and then we can fulfill [ticket] requests," Hacket said. "But we have a demand list for requests right now that we haven't had [in a long time]. We have thousands of people who want multiple [season] tickets."
