If you look at the stats of these two games you could say that Iowa was just as dominate at Northwestern as Michigan was. While we didn't get a shutout (which is always impressive) stat line for stat line, we were equally as impressive. What is even more impressive is that we had two backs with over 10 carries that averaged over 7 yards per carry against what was supposed to be a very good run defense.
I would also say that if CJ was 100% healthy, we would have probably dominated even more. If this team continues to improve and we get some of our pieces back at 100%, especially CJ, I would put us up against anyone. Yesterday was a flat out impressive performance but due to our overall record, people will not give us the same love that Michigan got for their win over Northwestern. I sincerely hope we stay focused and run the table this year.
