It is great to be an Iowa Wrestling fan.

Go Hawks!

I like the way the rest of the season plays out for Kennedy. He has some wrestlers ranked right at his level, some a little above and 2 in the top 6. That gives him what I believe is pretty much perfect competition to see where he is at and get to where he needs to be.

He is not running through a meat grinder, nor is he having a walk in the park.

I wish there was a way to have the season all year long!!!!

I think to set himself up for succeed in the B10 and NCAA brackets he’s going to have to beat either Amine or Hamiti and then everyone else on the remaining schedule. He can do it…just has to stay on his offense and not let the Marinelli style (just win by 1) rub off on him. We need to start winning matches in the first and second periods!!

Come on, you're doing a disservice to the Bull by saying "the marinelli style" is rubbing off on Pat. Go back and watch Bull's first couple seasons, he was one of our most fun wrestlers to watch by far.

Something changed the last couple years (nagging injuries, being lighter, etc.) But he gave us a ton of very f** matches throughout his career.

Brother, the Bull gave us some of the best matches!! I mean the matches between him and Joseph were alone worth the price of a pay per view MMA night. But like you said, those last couple of years were different; they were the “just win by one” kind of matches. And I want PK to be like those first years. I got nothing but love for the Bull.

I think probably what happened to the Bull the last few years was that his style was well scouted and the better wrestlers has plans for him. I honestly don't think it was so much physical.

Joseph and Marinelli could go every day and twice on Sunday. I would even risk Flo poor video and a year fee to watch them live. No matter your allegiance you had to give those 2 credit for bringing the heat each and every time they battled.

Great to be a wrestling fan! I don't care the team.

They sure brought out the best in each other. Those were some good matches.
