Planning on going to Midlands for first time....I've been poking around online trying to find the schedule....ie session times....all I see is all day tuesday....have a daughter in Roselle was going to stay with Monday night...then planning on getting a room in Evanston Tuesday and Wednesday....any recommendations on where to stay....where to get tickets....schedule....greatly appreciated....I assume tickets will be available at the gate?

thanks guys...finally found the session times....appreciate the input....general admission can you just find open seats hopefully with other Hawk fans....guessing no where near a full house....I need to join the HAWK club....have had season tickets for years....usually go to big tens and nationals

Earplugs and a helping of patience/tolerance/whatever applies if Robin Ficker is in the house............which he probably will be.

I would highly recommend spending the extra $$$ for reserved all-session seating as these seats are cushioned and have backs!

Good point, and I agree. Is there another Big Ten university that has yet to splurge on actual seats for its arena? Surely, NW has the coin for seats throughout the place. Granted, that might bring the capacity below 1,000. . . .

appreciate the input....one more question if I stay at the team hotel....can a guy go to a HAWK function and join on the spot?

Facilities at NU are completely underwhelming. It's been awhile but I remember thinking WTH. I guess the stadium got an upgrade but stil.

I have only been once but plan for a long day the first day. Basically they pack three days of wrestling into two days and that first session is very long. That being said if I would go again I wouldn't get reserved seats. Yes the back rest are nice but if you get to low to the left or right of center you can be completely obstructed from being able to see mats on the other side of the arena. I am sure some of the midlands veterans can speak to this one way or another better then I can though.
