The six points that terao scored were both nice moves.
Re-watch it. It was the fists at the end. The kid threw one pointless cross-face with 2 seconds left, then as time expired cocked back just to hit Gilman in the face. It was plain as day. I'm just glad G-man kept his cool for the most part
Is it me or are Gilman's post match antics just getting ridiculous at this point? He is a 5th year senior and team leader. Is it too much to ask him to lead by example? No one else in the country acts as consistently dickish as Gilman. Did Terao just show him that he is not as good as thinks he is. He just went to the top of my list for those of hope lose in 5ots in the NCAA finals. What a complete idiot!!!
Well to b fair Thomas got a few good head slaps of his own during the match, not as bad as Terao's but good none the less..
I'll take hot heads that shiw some emotions over kids that show none. As long as they can keep it under control.
But I am curious as to what the other coach was yelling at the kid and pointing to Gilman about??? Maybe "Wtf are you doing, he (Gilman) is walking off as the winner right now"????

You guys are taking it a bit overboard saying he was punched in the face. Couple of legal cross faces. I'm a Gilman fan, but if you're going to dish out after the whistle face mushes, then you better be able to handle some legal cross faces during the match.
I guess G-MAN needs to let him punch him as much as possible at the end. Maybe we think you are a complete idiot for not knowing what went on?
1 legal cross face, the other was with 000000 across the clock. But I dont think anyone is arguing that he doesnt dish it out. People are arguing that he had a reason this time to get amped up lol
Had gilman thrown the cross faces I'd call it wrestling to the end and it being just hard nosed wrestling. Gilman kept his cool and didn't retaliate so who cares. It's wrestling not a tickle fight. Gilman gutted out a win and had a tough match that he had to work hard to win isn't that what we want at this point is for the guys to be pushed and tested?
My point is that this is almost the expected outcome at the end of every Gilman match. It doesn't matter if he is wrestling a top ten guy or an unranked wrestler with no chance of winning. You can win with class. After 5 years, Gilman still hasn't gotten the memo.
And I'm just saying that if you can dish it out you should be able to take it too.

You guys are ridiculous. If you saw a wrestler from any team other than Iowa acting like this, you would call them out. Being tough and wrestling with respect don't have to be mutually exclusive. Gilman gets a pass when he won't shake hands pre-match, face smooshes etc... I hope that someone pulls another "Moisey" on Napoleon this March.
