Mike and his partner Ryan Baack had the biggest fish of the weekend. Slow time of year. Figured it was newsworthy.

Saturday it was very calm. Sunday it was like riding a mechanical bull out in the boat. Most days theres at least one side of the lake or a bay out of the wind but youre right....perfect boating days are few and far between.

Ya, how are waves going to make any difference when the sun won't penetrate deep enough to make a difference in the first place? That was my point, I never said they don't prefer dark water. Reading is hard

All I know because of what my grandfather would tell me is that, dawn and dusk are good feeding times because they see well in low light and clear water and that calm, sunny days were a bitch. I hate fishing because I don't have the patience. My idea of fishing after five minutes is putting a bobber on my line and pretending it's a ship and then gathering up some rocks and pretending the rocks are bombs. I like to eat fish and don't mind watching others fish.
