Yes, and that's exactly what I expect.
This is really interesting to hear, considering that Gesell was a Fran recruit and player for four years.
Gesell probably would have done quite well in McCollums system imp. Outside of joeT he’s probably the best defensive pg fran had.
That's my coach! BM is going to make us love him. We're very lucky to have landed him.
It's going to take a while for me to associate BM with the coach's name.

not really. he had a lot of options out of HS. Fran wasn't the school that gave him his chance. he recognizes a good coach.
I was talking to a Hoosier grad today outside of our shop and he says to me, "you took our coach," and I responded that I was happy IU got Devries and Iowa didn't.
I live in Indy and have had the same conversation a few times this week.
They've been enjoyable chats.

BMC grew up an Iowa fan - no one is going to care more about the program than this guy. I hope he does as well here as I think he can - this could potentially be our dream hire. A great coach who WANTS to be at IOWA. Or that's my hope, anyway.
