Trailing 7-2 and he throws Haught to his back and pins him with 19 seconds left. Makes Warner look even better!
Yeah but the score was 7-2 So it was a closer match than with Warner. Warner will also start separating himself more now with these guys, by the end of the year if Warner was to go I bet he could very well be in the finals at 197.Sounds like he was getting worked prior to the pin.
Probably not the start he was planning. Though a big pin is good.
Yeah prob the best choice to let Warner mature . Cash is going to have a real solid year imho. Im just caught in between not that my opinion matters but the talent that some of these guys have straight out of HS is awesome. So many guys are doing so well as freshman 197 is solid but winnable class these things and having a shirt to use if he gets hurt are all things to consider.I don't think WIlke has done anything to have Warner's shirt to be pulled. Let Cash man 197 this year, than drop next year when Warner comes in.
Pat is doing quite well, on and off the mat. I'll actually be surprised if he doesn't make it.Pull the shirt and push Wilke down. I read somewhere that PD3 needs around 20 credits, far fetched to believe that he is going to make it. Hope he does but, plan for the worst and if pulling the shirt and pushing Cash down that ain't so bad![]()

I think it's sad that we have to have that debate. So does everyone think Cash can consistently beat Bowman at 184..?? He is wrestling pretty good...
He has a couple good tests coming up. Parker and Gravina. Should know a lot more about Bowman after those matches. So does everyone think Cash can consistently beat Bowman at 184..?? He is wrestling pretty good...
I say let him go. Lee is a different story because you have to take his injuries and recovery into consideration but Warner is ready to contend now.
Pat is doing well on his 23 credit hrs. First need to go back and check to see if Cash certified at 84 and then talk to Warner and his parents about their preference that this be a redshirt year.
Thats not good to hear, hopefully it's due to him not trying to certify for it this season instead of him being unable to make it back down..Cash did not certify at '84... There's been some inner consternation on that subject as of late.

Nah -- I like my elephants in one bite.I know everyone keeps throwing around 20 or 23 credit hours. It seems like transcripts were posted last year when he was shopping for a new home after the Iowa State debacle. I am guessing from what I saw that the boy already had a grand plan in motion which included taking 3 or 4 Summer online courses which would have made it much simpler. Sometimes it’s easier to eat an Elephant one bite at a time over a couple of meals instead of all in one sitting.

I believe he took summer classes and still needed that many credits. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.I know everyone keeps throwing around 20 or 23 credit hours. I think he needs to add strength. He's already phenomenal, of course, but once he puts on some muscle, look out. I think Moore's main advantage over him at this point is just horsepower. When that playing field gets leveled, I think Warnerov will give him all he can handle and then some. For those far more knowledgeable than I: Obviously being in the room with high level partners for a year is great experience, but he gets that regardless. At that high of a weight, what will he gain from a year in their weight program? Is he a "body" that needs molding, or is he roughly peak physical now? Basically, is the waiting just to wait out the poor team year or what should "we" expect out of a rs year?
I have never been overly impressed with Haught and he was handling Miklus. I view this as Miklus being fortunate to pull out a match he was again losing. Not really a throw to his back, Haught was in on a shot and Miklus did one of those elevator things to a neck wrench like Ness always did.
Wilcke certified at 184. Not sure where those rumors that he did not came from.

If you're wondering how Travis Rutt is doing, I think he's going a fantastic job, and he fits right into the program very well. Really seems like a great young man.Is there a consensus on the new s&c guy yet?
Inside the room... And I never took the words as a "rumor". I'd love some clarification on this.
