And we are obviously missing all the great minutes at the 4 spot for CMac
I guarantee this lineup / distribution wins more games. Thing is we have lost 3/4, the one game we won had the distribution above. However Fran will not change.
Good luck thinking Fran's going to look at this tread and change his coaching philosophy. He drags Iowa down every year with strange substitutions and lack of defensive commitment. He's loyalty to his staff is commendable to a fault and if he had paid attention to his critics and there is many of them, he'd have had a defensive coach on his staff years ago. But atlas that is and will never be the case while he's at Iowa. We're stuck with what we have and like ground hog day every year is the same disappointment.....
Well this kinda looks like what Iowa did against MSU. I have no idea why we went away from this.
This is exactly what I think the problem is. It goes back to what @BlackNGoldBleeder said. This team should not be set in stone with lineups. It is very clear that we have shooters who play no defense and slashers who can defend but they don't shoot a ton. You have to play matchups and Iowa tries to enforce their will and make teams adjust to us. Problem is they don't need to.
