MLB lost $3.1 billion this year.

Both of you suck at math 😂

There were no home games attended this year that I know of. There have been fans in playoffs, but don't know of any regular season fans. So, owners missed an entire season of ticket revenue

81 home games per team x 30 teams x 28,317 x $33 = $2.27 billion

I dont think it's inflated at all., if anything I think it would be more. Thats about $100M per team. 81 home games worth of gate receipts, say 28K attendance per game (2019 average) at $35/ticket (just a guess) is $80M/team plus lost concessions and TV revenue.
