Moeaki Honorary Captain

Former All-Big Ten TE Tony Moeaki will serve as Iowa's honorary captain Saturday. Moeaki was a senior in 2009, the only season before this one in which the Hawkeyes started 9-0. So this 10th game marks a bit of unfinished business for him.

I believe he's a great choice. He was one of the most talented players Iowa ever recruited, but was always plagued by injuries, however he continually fought through them even during a nice pro career. I hope he is an inspirational speaker.

Agree. He was also part of the 09 team that was catching a lot of the same flack that his year's team is.
