For those that are interested in getting a preview of future Hawkeyes Brock Harding and Owen Freeman, here is a link to the entire final championship game won by Moline 59-42. Harding is quick and bouncy. Fun to watch him run the offense and get his shots. He could get some PT next year in short bursts. He can really amp up the tempo. Freeman has a ways to go to be a solid B1G player. He’s big and pretty mobile and is a shot blocking threat. Needs some work on his footwork and positioning to become an effective offensive threat. It will be fun to watch these guys grow and develop.

Last night I was at the Quad City Iowa vs Illinois senior game. Obviously, Freeman and Harding were on the team, but didn’t play. Anyone know why?

If that was the only game you watched, I can understand your opinion of Owen. Although he didn't score in the 2 games down at the State Farm Arena he wasn't asked too. He is very capable of putting up 20 or more points a game and did so in 17 games of Moline's total of 38 and in 7 of those games he played less then 24 minutes of the games 32 minutes, because Moline had reached the 30 point threshold that started a running clock in the 4th quarter.
Does he have to improve his confidence, absolutely, but he does have range out to and past the 3 point line.

Is this your first time here? There is a 12 page thread breaking down just about every game they played.

I'm just guessing, but probably Iowa may not have given them the OK to play in that game last night. Other then that, I too was eager to see them play against the rest of the Iowa/Illinois graduating all stars..

The "Wicked Witch of the West" doesn't have any influence on you at all does she?
You should be calmed down some what, now that the season has been over for a number of days?.
We're talking about an Iowa recruit you probably have never heard of before and if you have you could care less because you're always so angry, lighten up Frances.

When Moline beat Benet Academy of Lisle, Illinois in the Illinois state championship game, Benet's top player was injured, but Moline would have probably won, anyway,. I am so happy Brock and Owen are Hawkeyes.

Obviously I haven't seen the Moline boys as much as some on here, but I saw clips of both of them and just got the feeling that Freeman is going to be a real weapon for us (kind of the same feeling I had about Aaron White). Brock looks like a natural PG, but I worry about his size. Luckily, size can be overcome by experience and skill. Overall excited to have both of them on the team.
