When did the GOP make a break to Trump?

On Tuesday, Senator McConnell just opened the door forRepublicans on the floor of the US Senate. He endorsed (and gave Republicans) permission to vote for a bill Trump has openly opposed.

This might be the first admission by Republicans that Trump’s future realistically includes arrest, trials and jail time.
