Not sure if you're implying this is totally unnecessary, or if you think it is the most dangerous thing ever, or what?
This is no different, aside from the "belt fed" feature than most other AR-15 style 5.56 guns out there. Hell, I own a Colt 6920LE which is almost the exact same thing, again, aside from the belt fed option.
